Frequently asked questions.

How is a Virtual Appraisal different from an On-Site Inspection?

Virtual Appraisals are photo- and VIN-based and typically reviewed directly by Aprazio, delivered within 48 hours (business days). On-Site Inspections involve a vetted appraiser from the Aprazio Collective physically inspecting the vehicle — recommended for classic, collector, or high-value vehicles, or whenever an in-person condition report is required. On-Site timing depends on appraiser availability in your area rather than a fixed turnaround.

When do I pay?

Payment is collected securely when you submit your order — there's no separate invoice or follow-up link to wait on. Your appraisal starts as soon as payment is confirmed.

How fast will I get my report?

Most Virtual Appraisals are delivered within 48 hours (business days) of submission. On-Site Inspections depend on appraiser availability in your area — we'll give you a specific timeline once one is assigned.

Is Aprazio affiliated with a dealer, lender, or insurer?

No. Aprazio is an independent valuation service. We have no financial relationship with any manufacturer, dealer, insurer, or lender tied to the outcome of an appraisal.

Do you cover my state?

Virtual Appraisals are available nationwide. On-Site Inspection availability depends on Collective appraiser coverage in your area — tell us your location when you submit and we'll confirm.

What if there's no appraiser near me for an On-Site Inspection?

We check appraiser coverage and travel distance before dispatching your order. If no Collective appraiser can reasonably reach your location, you're not stuck — we'll refund your On-Site Inspection fee in full, or switch your order to a Virtual Appraisal at no extra cost. Your choice.

What's the difference between Diminished Value and a Total Loss Dispute?

Diminished Value applies when your vehicle was damaged and repaired, but is still worth less than it was before the accident — we document that gap for your insurance claim. A Total Loss Dispute applies when your insurer declared the vehicle a total loss and offered a settlement you believe is too low — we provide an independent pre-loss (actual cash value) valuation to support a higher settlement.

I'm an appraiser — how do I get dispatched jobs?

Apply through Join the Collective. Once verified, you'll start receiving requests in your area.

Why isn't Collector priced like the other tiers?

Rare and investment-grade vehicles vary too widely in scope and value for a flat price. A $150 refundable deposit secures a quick consult, and we confirm final pricing with you before any work begins.
